Whiskey Sour

Ingredients

2 oz —bourbon
¾ oz —lemon juice
¾ oz —1:1 simple syrup
—optional: orange bitters (or any bitters)
—optional: 1 egg white, dry shake first if using
Garnish
citrus wheel
Luxardo/Maraschino cherry

Method

  • Combine bourbon, lemon juice, syrup, and ice in a cocktail shaker
  • Shake until the outside is cold (~20-30 seconds)
  • Strain into a old fashioned or rocks glass
  • Garnish
