Ingredients
| 1 — | pint fresh strawberries |
| ~¼ cup — | sugar |
| splash — | balsamic vinegar |
| ~2 tbsp — | water |
| Thickener |
| 1 tsp — | corn starch |
| 2 tbsp — | cold water |
Method
- Wash and hull strawberries
- Add all ingredients to a medium saucepan
- Bring liquid and whole strawberries to a boil on medium heat
- Cover, turn heat to low, and cook for ~15 mins
- Whisk in thickener
- As soon as the mixture thickens slightly, turn off heat
- Blend until very smooth
