Ingredients
- 1 (12 oz) package fresh cranberries
- 1 cinnamon stick
- up to 1⁄4 cup white sugar
- 1⁄4 cup maple syrup
- 1⁄4 cup water
- 1 tbsp freshly grated ginger
- juice from 1 orange (3⁄4 cup)
- zest from 1 orange
- pinch of salt
Method
- Rinse cranberries in a colander
- Add to a medium saucepan
- Add ingredients
- Stir together and bring to a simmer
- Cook until the berries collapse (~10 minutes)
